With notes reminiscent of icy water on dark cliff rock. and cool, clean air, it revitalises the senses and leaves a trail of pure freshness in its wake. Aromatic green notes blend with the cold and and dark notes of the aquatic rock face. A brightness is found in a plush white floral note, while Patchouli brings a depth and earthiness along with Moss and Myrrh.

Sage as a fragrance note offers a herbal, earthy aroma with a touch of woody warmth, balancing fresh, camphorous undertones with hints of peppery, aromatic greens.
PATCHOULI
The green leafed plant has purple flowers and is actually a member of the mint family. The oil gives this scent an earthy ‘forest floor’ approach with a touch of tobacco depth.
COLD AIR
Cold air as a fragrance note evokes crisp, clean freshness with hints of icy mint, ozonic breezes, and a subtle whisper of frosted pine and eucalyptus.

Inspired by the world of literature
Inspired by the isolation and personal battles of Virginia Woolf's ’To the Lighthouse’, Emilie Bouge wanted to recall the icy and dark night air she had felt while reading the text and with the idea to try to translate the emotion of this exhilarating feeling of freedom and isolation at once. The fragrance starts with a fresh spicy note (cardamom) combined with crispy aromatic notes (sage, eucalyptus and mint) which brings you to this cold and dark evening. The green grass note brings a natural facet to pay tribute to the greenery that adorn this beautiful landscape. For the heart, is added a sea salt note to represent the ocean spray and several woods (cedarwood and cashmere wood) to enhance the emblematic white flower accord of sibling fragrance Scherzo, which make it so unique and sophisticated. On the base, myrrh and papyrus are included.
